Shipping Information
KoreaBox charges shipping after your items arrive in Korea, are repacked, and the final parcel is measured. Your shipping bill is based on that measured parcel, so early estimates can stay realistic without pretending to be final.
A tracked option for supported countries, usually suited to orders where cost matters more than speed.
Korea Post express mail for destinations where you want a faster postal route.
How final shipping is calculated
We can show an estimate based on item category, expected weight, and package volume. Use it as a planning number, not the final bill.
We charge the real shipping amount after repacking, final measurement, and carrier selection. Shipping is always the second payment.
- The billed weight may be the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight.
- Economy and EMS estimates use a 6000 volumetric divisor.
- Shipping estimates shown during ordering already include the 8% shipping payment buffer.
Where Economy shipping is currently supported
Economy estimates are currently available for: Australia, Canada, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, United States, Vietnam.
Other destinations use EMS estimates until Economy coverage is added.
Destinations using fallback estimates
These destinations do not yet have Economy rate data: China, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico.
Note on public rate tables
We do not publish one fixed chart for every destination because box size, consolidation, and carrier coverage can change the final cost. The final amount is confirmed after KoreaBox measures the packed parcel.
