The Korean item price is converted to USD with payment processing and currency conversion cost already included.
See the item total before purchase. Approve shipping after your parcel is measured.
This is the normal KoreaBox pricing path for store orders. The item payment is explained here, separate from Bunjang and shipping rules.

For purchasing, quality check, and consolidation. It is calculated on the base converted item price before the 1.08 multiplier.
The $8 minimum service fee is a small-order handling floor. It usually applies when the base item value is below about $80. It is not a Bunjang fee and not a shipping charge.
Shipping is quoted later after the parcel is weighed. You approve it before anything ships.
The 1.08 covers payment processing and currency conversion cost already included in Item USD.
Bunjang should not make normal order pricing look more complicated. These charges appear only for review-gated marketplace requests.
Bunjang requests still use the normal KoreaBox item USD and service-fee structure first.
Per seller conversation when a marketplace seller needs review and coordination. One conversation can cover multiple listings from the same seller in one purchase attempt.
Platform or protected-payment fees are passed through only when the marketplace path adds them. Protected payment works more like marketplace escrow; it is not product insurance.
Extra seller-facing photos, videos, or repeated condition checks add $3 per request. They do not guarantee authenticity, condition grade, or seller response.
Shipping is not part of the first purchase total because the real parcel weight and destination determine the carrier charge.
After your items arrive, we use the measured parcel weight and destination to calculate the shipping payment. The multiplier covers payment processing cost on the shipping transaction too.
You see the measured weight, shipping amount, and carrier option before KoreaBox sends the parcel.
Keep detailed carrier tables on the Shipping page. Pricing explains when shipping is billed, not every rate band.
Short rationale stays here so the main pricing sections can stay readable.
You pay in USD, while Korean sellers are paid in KRW. KoreaBox includes that operating cost in the USD item price so the item total does not change at checkout.
The real shipping cost depends on the parcel's measured weight and destination. We quote it after your items arrive and you approve it before shipping.
Small orders still require purchase handling, quality check, consolidation, and support. The minimum keeps that baseline work covered when 10% would be lower than $8.
Normal KoreaBox item pricing still applies. Marketplace coordination can add seller-conversation, extra request, or pass-through platform fees only when that request lane is used.
